It is impossible to be both selfish and happy.

When you forgive, you're not doing God a favor, you are giving yourself the gift of freedom.

We often think more highly of ourselves than we ought to, and it's easy to judge others and be critical of their weaknesses and shortcomings. But this self-righteous attitude is a sin that we can be blinded to because we're so focused on what the other person did wrong. The reality is this attitude is worse than the wrong behavior we're judging.

God is working on your problem. Stay calm. Stay sweet. Stay out of fear and keep on keeping on.

We must remember we are stewards of what God has provided for us, not owners.

God doesn’t want us to live timid, shy, weak, wimpy, fearful, boring lives. He wants us to be bold, con dent and courageous, unafraid to try new things. And it never ceases to amaze me what God will do through a person who simply steps out in faith.

Everytime you feed the flesh, you strenghten it. This is good if you are trying to build a good habit, but detrimental if you are trying to stop a bad habit. The way to "kill the flesh" is to starve it; to stop feeding it.
