God shrouds himself in mystery so He can be found by true seekers.
Why is it important for you to know the real God? Because your identity is found in Him.
What you meditate on is what you believe.
Faith is believing that the things you cannot see are more real than the things you can see.
If we really knew what God had for us, we would pray more.
