I have so many friends who have no idea what they want to do. They are out of college and working, but not sure they are doing what they want to do, which is normal.

I remember telling the agent, 'I don't want to do anything but Broadway.' She was like, 'That's not really possible because there is not that much Broadway. So I'll send you out on TV and stuff like that.'

I don't choose my projects based on genre, I choose them based on the role and whether or not I've tackled that yet, based on the director and such.

Everybody has to be responsible for their own actions - and if they do something wrong, I believe in paying for it.

Pink is like the one color I say I hate, and yet somehow I end up wearing it. Like, Michael Kors sent me a pink dress, and I'm like: 'So beautiful!' And I'm wearing it telling him 'I hate pink, why am I wearing this? It's really nice though.'

I'm still passionate now about my job, but when I first started out as a kid, I was so motivated. No one had ever acted in my family before, and my parents had no idea how to help with that. I would leave notes on my parents pillow every night at 13 saying, "Please help me find an agent!" Eventually it worked, so I relate to that go-getter mentality.

I'm not interested in politics, or being a part of them. I definitely do my homework and make sure that I know what's going on, and I'm responsible enough to be able to vote for people that I respect. But other than that, I've never been a part of the political world.
