As a designer it's not my job to make people like me - I just want them to like my clothes.

I'd like people to like me. I think most of my friends like me! I'm real and I get in trouble for speaking my mind. I will definitely tell you the truth because I have to. I get in trouble that way.

People want to feel effortless about their clothes. I don't always get it, I make a lot of mistakes, but that's my goal.

Maybe I am a little cocky. Maybe it's something I need to work on.

It's easy to make something with a million style-lines. Simplicity is the most difficult thing to achieve, and that's how I approach design - very minimal, pare it down, perfect.

My body is here, but my mind has already teed off.
