People are seeing me as the guy who wants to get hurt, who wants to break a bone, get bruises. And that's how it was growing up with six brothers. I got beat up, and I beat up people.

I love playing the bad guy getting away with stuff. I was that kid who learned from my older brothers who got away with everything by smiling.

Bill [Condon] is such a great actor's director. He cares about what you're thinking. And, he's very open. Even though he was pressed for time, and he was doing two movies at once, and all this stuff was happening around him, he would still take time to sit there and talk to you about your scene and your character and what you were going through.
