Kids are so busy with different things and are occupied with other things, so when they do find themselves to be creative, it's often that they can be creative in the kitchen and they get the opportunity to bond with family, friends and talk. It just opens up their lines of communication. We need that now for these young people.

I had to work 10 times harder. People expect so much of you, because they want to see if you can strive and stand on your own.

Never give up on your dream... because you never know what the Lord can bless you with.

Argh... I could be better with my time. I like to be punctual, but I could be better.

I feel like if we're blessed enough to be given talent, to be given an opportunity, then why not take that opportunity and make it for someone's betterment you know?

Life is really a blessing to be able to do what you love everyday, to learn about yourself. For me it's been about becoming a woman, and I've really enjoyed that experience.

What I did was go into the studio and make music that I love. Make music that when you hear it, it feels good. Whether it was urban inspired, dance inspired, HipHop inspired or it just feels good period.
