For those saying they live in fear, again, I think they should be part of the conversation. They should reach out and try to not be so presumptively accusatory, frankly, or presumptively negative towards the president-elect, and instead try to build that trusting relationship and try to, frankly, explain their case to him and to his advisers.

When Donald Trump talks about the rigged, corrupt system, remember, he's standing up for the forgotten man and the forgotten woman. This is not about him. This is about the people. This is about folks who are white-knuckled at the end of each month trying to pay the bills. This is about the people who feel like their pressing their nose against the glass of the rigged system and can't get in, they're just watching everybody else benefit.

Washington has never seen anything like President Donald Trump.

For everyone that doesn't want to endorse Donald Trump or doesn't even want to support him, they should realize he actually has a connection to his voters.

I do have to say when we read certain words being used to describe President Trump - it's never been done. It wasn't done about President Obama. It wasn't done about either President Bush, President Clinton, because people have a certain respect for and recognition of the dignity for the office of the president. And so I am beseeching everybody to cool it down a little bit.

I don't have any special advice for America's women, except to know who you are and to put your priorities in order and to not worry about the naysayers and critics say.

I saw that with Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin in 2008. I mean, I came away from the 2008 campaign feeling really icky.
