My Father taught me how to be a man โ and not by instilling in me a sense of machismo or an agenda of dominance. He taught me that a real man doesnโt take, he gives; he doesnโt use force, he uses logic; doesnโt play the role of trouble-maker, but rather, trouble-shooter; and most importantly, a real man is defined by whatโs in his heart, not his pants.
Kevin SmithI think it's better to have ideas. You can change an idea. Changing a belief is trickier. Life should malleable and progressive; working from idea to idea permits that. Beliefs anchor you to certain points and limit growth; new ideas can't generate. Life becomes stagnant.
