I listen to other artists, cuz its like every artist wanna hear something that they never heard before.

I don't know what it means to be a star because I don't really look at myself like a star. I look at myself as a regular person, just like everybody else. I just love what I do.

Of course, growing up, I was a big fan of rap so that was something that I got into. I was a fan of a lot of artists. You can be a fan, but at the same time, you gotta carve your own swagger and carve out your own style.

I want you to hear how I can tell stories. I want you to hear how I can make these records about these females and make them feel every way I can. I want you to feel my magic. I want you to respect me and my artistry.

I'm a private person so wasn't the type of person who could talk to people and be like this is going on at home, I want this shirt, this girl don't like me, etc. I just rap about it!

What I do brings me a lot of money and it puts me on TV so people may look at me like a star but to me, if you're good (at what you do) and keep on improving, then that's what makes you a star in your own way.
