I've been an REM fan since I was a little girl. I would jump around to 'Stand' in the mirror.

I get along really well with Lars [von Trier] but definitely during our first meetings I was feeling him out and he definitely says some things that are inappropriate and then you kind of get his sense of humour. I really enjoy him. He's one of my favourite people I've met now. So, he's pretty great.

When I was younger, I always did movies that teenagers would watch, not adults. I did 'Crazy/Beautiful' or comedies like 'Bring It On.'

When you're in a depressed state, having something really bad happen gives you kind of a life again.
