I feel like I see life differently. I see it as this amazing challenge that I look forward to every day. I never used to see life as that. It used to be just this thing you went through and had a good time. Now I have responsibilities to myself, my family, my fans that I have to uphold. It's more exciting this way and way more rewarding.

The biggest thing I learned was that the harder you work for the thing that you love the most, then everything that you want is going to come true.

I love pop music, but I love pop music that does something a little bit different.

I love my fans because they're smart, dude.

The only thing that I really want to do is just be respected in the music industry... And whether that means selling albums or winning Grammys or people just liking your music, thats what I really want to do.

II know very, very little about the ukulele, but I actually grew up playing the viola from 4th grade through high school.

The biggest change is I get to play my music for the people.
