I've made it my goal to revolutionise pop music.

I'm terrified of therapy because I don't want it to mess with my creativity.

Memories are not recycled like atoms and particles in quantum physics; they can be lost forever.

I'm able to laugh now, because I've gone through a lot of mental and physical therapy to heal over the years, my music's been wonderful for me. But I was a shell of my former self at one point. I was not myself. To be fair, I was about 19, so ... I went to Catholic school and all this crazy stuff happened, and I was going, 'Oh, is this just the way adults are?' I was very naive.

What I've learned is that you really don't need to be a celebrity or have money or have the paparazzi following you around to be famous.

Do not allow people to dim your shine because they are blinded. Tell them to put on some sunglasses because we were born this way.

I have a whole second act of ARTPOP and I love it.
