Sages do not accumulate for themselves. The more they give to others, the more they possess of their own. The way of Heaven is to benefit others and not to injure.

The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao. The name that can be named is not the eternal Name.

Water benefits the ten thousand things and does not oppose them.

Moderation means prevention. Prevention means achieving much virtue.

In work, do what you enjoy.

The wise leader settles for good work and then lets others have the floor.

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.
