Without law or compulsion, men would dwell in harmony.
The Tao is like a well; used but never used up.
Every step is on the path.
What should be shrunken must first be stretched.
Dignified, like a guest.
It (Tao) is eternally without desire. So, it can be called small. All things return to it, although it does not make itself their ruler. So, it can be called great.
