As soon as rules were made, names were given. There are already many names. One must know when it is enough.
LaoziHe (the sage) is good to those who are good. He is also good to those who are not good. That is the virtue of good.
LaoziFame or integrity: which is more important? Money or happiness: which is more valuable? Success or failure: which is more destructive? If you look to others for fulfillment, you will never truly be fulfilled. If your happiness depends on money, you will never be happy with yourself. Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.
LaoziThe wise person dines on something more subtle: He eats the understanding that the named was born from the unnamed, that all being flows from non-being, that the describable world emanates from an indescribable source.
