I need him to know that I came for him. I need him to know that somehow, at some point in the tunnels, I began to love him.

People are like ants: Just a few of them give all the orders. And most of them spend their lives getting squashed.

Maybe all of these different possibilities exist at the same time, like each moment we live has a thousand other moments layered underneath it that look different.

But now I give in, let the anger surge. I'm sick of people acting like this world, this other world is the normal one, while I'm the freak. It's not fair; like all the rules have suddenly changed and somebody forgot to tell me.

It won't matter if nobody ever thinks I'm pretty (although sometimes I wish, just for a second, that somebody would)
