I love seeing my teammates succeed. That's what I get more excited about than anything

I've been watching basketball for a long time, I'm a historian of the game. I don't know any other team that's gotten to the Finals without two All-Stars... I cannot remember thinking of it. I don't even know if it's ever happened, for a team to lose two All-Stars and still be able to make it to the Finals.

That's what keeps me humble because I know my background, know what my mother went through. I never get too high on my stardom or what I can do. My mom always says and my friends all say, ’You're just a very low-maintenance guy’. I don't need too much. Glamour and all that stuff don't excite me. I am just glad I have the game of basketball in my life.

Man, meeting Michael Jordan for me was like.. black Jesus walking towards me. It was overwhelming to me to finally meet the guy I've looked up to my whole life.

That's all our team is about. If we stop people, we're the most athletic team in this whole tournament and we can get out and get easy buckets.

You can't be afraid to fail. It's the only way you succeed - you're not gonna succeed all the time, and I know that.

I never thought basketball was going to be my future. I just wanted to play because it gets you girls.
