The gift of the Holy Ghost is as important to man as sunshine and water are to plants.

The Lord has never indicated that black skin came because of being less faithful. Now, the Indian; we know why he has changed, don't we? The Book of Mormon tells us that; and he has a dark skin, but he has promise there that through faithfulness, that they all again become a white and delightsome people.

There is a statement often repeated in the Church, and while it is not in one of the Standard Church Works, it is accepted as church doctrine, and this is: 'As man is, God once was; as God is, man may become.'

For every worry under the sun, there is a remedy or there is none. If there be one, hurry and find it. If there be none, then never mind it.

We just could not have the Church of Jesus Christ without the spirit of missionary work.
