You can't force other people to like you and you just kind of have to ride the wave. I think I could have saved myself a lot of sleepless nights with that advice.

Like Summer Sisters comforted me just because I was like, okay things I've seen with my own eyes are not so terrible, and even though I knew adult gay people and had absolutely no issue with it. And it was very healing for me to read that, and feel like it was a part of other friendships, even fictional friendships I admire.

I value my health and my happiness. And I've realized exercise can give me both of those things.
