I always want the audience to identify with my character in some way. I mean, sometimes you'll get characters that aren't very identifiable. Sometimes you can't relate to your character at all.
Liana LiberatoI do have a very wonderful mentor, who helps me and reads my work and criticizes me, all the time. You've gotta have those people, who will tell you the truth and help you. You don't want anyone buttering you up. I want someone to tell me what I can fix. That's what I like.
Liana LiberatoI don't think I'd ever want to direct. I don't think I have as much discipline to direct as I would like to have, and I don't want my hair color to not go grey during that process.
Liana LiberatoI love Abby Lee Miller. Honestly, if there's such a thing as past lives, I was definitely a dancer.
Liana LiberatoThe first person I ever really got starstruck over was Nicole Kidman, because I looked up to her. When I was younger, I wouldn't get parts because of how tall I was. I had the body of a 15-year-old but the face of a 12-year-old. I always looked at Nicole Kidman and thought, "Oh well, she works."
Liana LiberatoI love the Walking Dead, but I dont wanna be an actual prominent character on the show. I just wanna be a zombie.
Liana LiberatoI don't ever want to be bored, doing the same thing from 9 to 5. I've always loved pretending and being someone different.
Liana LiberatoSome people say that they read the first 20 pages, and then decide if they want to do the film or not. But, I have to read the entire thing cause anything can change in a script.
Liana LiberatoWhen I was younger, I didn't know who a lot of those people were because I couldn't watch any of their movies. I actually get way more starstruck now. I think starstruck is the wrong word - I get overly enthusiastic about who I work with.
Liana LiberatoI think it's important to keep the audience interested. But the best advice that I've gotten is to live in the moment. Sometimes you can get too into your head when you're in a scene.
Liana LiberatoI love writing. I love to write, and I would eventually love to have some of my work produced.
Liana LiberatoI don't necessarily look for what I respond to in a script. I look for things that scare me, and take that as an indication that I should probably do it. I don't want to be bored. I look for challenges. I look for a variety of different things because it's so easy to go the cliche route.
Liana LiberatoI'm actually really lazy. I tell myself, "Okay, you work six months out of the year and you have to get up at 4 a.m. ..." I'll relish the downtime by chilling on the couch and watching my favorite TV shows.
Liana LiberatoTheater is the only thing I always came back to. When I was 9, I asked my mom if I could be on TV. She was like, "Well, okay. You can try."
Liana LiberatoAny actor has their moments of being stressed, but the great part about this job is that it's so unpredictable, and that's what I like. I love spontaneity. I don't ever want to be bored, doing the same thing from 9 to 5.
Liana LiberatoI love all kinds of movies. I love a really good comedy and not the cheesy ones. My parents hate this, but I love horror films. Those are my favorite, and of course, dramatic roles. Im really drawn to those as well. All different genres.
Liana LiberatoActing is still fun. It's still not even a career for me. I think the second it becomes a career is when I should stop.
Liana LiberatoI always saw my peers finding some cool passion, but every time I tried one of those things, it never clicked. I would leave school and go to my theater class, and that's when I'd actually sit down and listen.
Liana LiberatoI think the great thing about acting is that it's not all the same. You're constantly challenged and constantly pushed to your limit. It's nice to see how your body can adapt to these things.
