I guess every time I go to Miami, it's pretty first-time for me, so I have to go with Miami as my hot spot.

Just dwelling on the past, I think it's really important for me to surround myself with positive people and just work really hard and really make the most out of the opportunity that God has given me, being able to make music, which I always wanted to do.

Success alone brings expectations. I think that people expect a certain thing from Lloyd - that's music that makes them feel good about their day, even when they're havin' a bad one.

Every song that I record, I love, it's like my new favorite. But one that really stands out to me is a song I debuted on tour with Trey Songz called "Angel". It's a really acoustic sounding and it's a really big song.

All I knew was I just wanted to make music, I wasn't thinking about label politics or what that means. It was really much simpler back then but yea I was discouraged a little bit. I felt really confident in my skills when I was that young, I was really cocky when I was younger.

Patience is probably the hardest thing I've had to learn in tryin' to love a girl. My lifestyle is very fast-paced; I'm always goin' somewhere, always on stage, and when I perform I perform at a high intensity. Sometimes I carry that energy off of the stage, into my private life. Sometimes I encounter girls who want me to take my time. When you're such a fast-paced, in the fast lane kinda guy, you don't really take the time that's necessary; you're like, "I want it now! If you can't give it to me now, well then." And from that, you end up losin' a lot of great people.
