There are, indeed, things that cannot be put into words. They make themselves manifest. They are what is mystical.

When we think about the future of the world, we always have in mind its being where it would be if it continued to move as we see it moving now. We do not realize that it moves not in a straight line and that its direction changes constantly.

And then the style cannot be my own. If you are unwilling to know what you are, your writing is a form of deceit.

In life it is never a mathematical proposition which we need, but we use mathematical propositions only in order to infer from propositions which do not belong to mathematics to others which equally do not belong to mathematics.

We must do away with all explanation, and description alone must take its place.

In the world everything is as it is and happens as it does happen. In it, there is no value, - and if there were, it would be of no value.
