I'm addicted to something at all times. Like, it's always music, but maybe sometimes it's a pair of pants or something else. That's just how my personality works.

One thing I know about Willie Hutch: my homie, [Big] Jerm, listens to nothing but Soul music, so he put me on to all this Soul music back in the day.

You can be labelled but if it doesn't speak to people then it won't work. The social media and online has been really important. Fans are really smart too: they don't want to hear something manufactured or something that has too much marketing behind it.
