When I come home, I'm just Maisie, and everywhere I go, I'm just Maisie!

Not a lot of people have jobs that they're really comfortable with, but I'm one of those people. I feel like I'm the luckiest girl on earth, and that's such a lovely feeling.

It's huge in the U.K., if someone's doing well, to put them down. That's what we do all the time. It's kind of like a cultural thing.

They’re always like, 'That’s not what happened in the books, so the show’s really bad now.' But really, they just feel insecure because they’re used to knowing what’s coming next.

People go down bad paths and they make bad decisions, but it's always justified in their head.

I'm so excited to be working on Doctor Who as it's such a big and important part of British Culture. I can't wait to meet the cast and crew and start filming, especially as we'll be shooting not too far from my home town.
