When someone takes away your pens you realise quite how important education is.

I want to serve. I want to serve the people. I want every girl, every child, to be educated.

In many parts of the world, especially Pakistan and Afghanistan, terrorism, war and conflict stop children to go to their schools. We are really tired of these wars. Women and children are suffering.

So today, we call upon the world leaders to change their strategic policies in favor of peace and prosperity. We call upon the world leaders that all of these deals must protect women and children’s rights. A deal that goes against the rights of women is unacceptable.

This is what my soul is telling me: be peaceful and love everyone.

We are human beings, and this is the part of our human nature, that we don't learn the importance of anything until it's snatched from our hands.

I want every girl, every child, to be educated.
