We've gone past Andy Warhol and all those clever, arty and witty things that were done and said in the sixties...the fifteen minutes, and so on. I am not doctor who and I can't turn back time. I once said the audience was all punks and little girls, now they are old punks and old little girls. I don't mind the fans being maturer, if there are younger fans that's good too.

I love the old stuff that's why I included it. I did see them play a lot as they supported the Banshees all the time. And I was a friend of the Banshees so I used to get there early to see the Ants and while the Banshees were on I used to like to go in their dressing room and steal their booze!

I'm a huge fan of 1930s horror - Universal films. I grew up with them and I just absolutely love them.

The difficult thing was deciding what to leave off! I just ultimately tried to strike a balance between what was interesting to hard core fans, and what was exciting to first timers and what I liked.
