I will support whoever is nominated and named by the party. I, at this time, don't plan to get involved in the contest and let it go forward. I had my own contest, it didn't result in victory, and I will let voters decide what will happen. But I will support the Republican candidate.

Let me just say the rules are what they are in the Republican Party. You have to have X-number of delegates in order to be the nominee. And if you don't have those number of delegates, then there's a process in place.Here is what would be a calamity, for Donald Trump to become our nominee.

Let's stop big government energy mandates like cap-and-trade, and instead trust the American innovator to make us energy independent.

If you're running to be president of the United States, you can't just tell people you're going to make America great again. I think you need to begin to explain exactly how you're going to do it policy-wise. We're not going to win a general election with a candidate that refuses to detail policy.

I'll support Donald [Trump] if he's the Republican nominee.

ISIS have to be defeated. They have to be defeated militarily. How are we going to do that if we continue to weaken our military?

Let me start by saying that I do not enjoy nor relish the partisan role of attack dog. I never found any fun in that. I don't think it's constructive. I don't intend to become that here in the Senate.
