People are really angry at Washington. And they have a right to be. It's why I ran in 2010, by the way.
Marco RubioI`m running for president because I want to change the direction of this country, and it will require me for the time being to miss some votes in the U.S.
Marco RubioEverything that I will ever accomplish, I owe to God, to my parent's sacrifices, and to the United States of America.
Marco RubioThey [ the government of Puerto Rico] are asking to be given the right to declare bankruptcy, which I think should be an option, as a last resort, if there is no other resource. But there also need to be measures, changes within the government of Puerto Rico, in the ways that the island's funds are administered, not just to deal with this budget issue, but also to have, to attract the economic growth that is necessary for Puerto Rico to begin to grow economically. They are losing population, and they are losing economically.
Marco RubioHere's the bigger problem with all this, we're not interrogating anybody right now. Guantanamo's being emptied by this president. We should be putting people into Guantanamo, not emptying it out, and we shouldn't be releasing these killers who are rejoining the battlefield against the United States.
Marco RubioWe have reached a moment in our history where we think that every problem in America has to have a federal government solution. Every problem in America does not have a federal government solution. In fact, most problems in America do not have a federal government solution and many of them are created by the federal government to begin with.
