First of all, what we [in USA] need to understand is the middle class is what makes us different and exceptional. Every country has rich people, but what has made us different throughout history is that we have this broad-based vibrant middle class.

Presidents don't have the benefit of hindsight. You have to make difficult decisions based on the information that's before you at that moment.

We need transparency in government spending. We need to put each government expenditure online so every Floridian can see where their tax money is being spent.

I think the American people are gonna be reasonable with what do you do with someone who has been in this country for 10 or 12 years who hasn't otherwise violated our laws - because if they're a criminal they can't stay. They'll have to undergo a background check, pay a fine, start paying taxes. And ultimately, they'll given a work permit and that's all they're gonna be allowed to have for at least 10 years.

We [the USA] have a $16 trillion debt which these tax increases will do nothing to solve and you will have at least 200,000 less jobs next year than you have now. And the people who vote for that will be responsible for that decision and they will held accountable for that terrible public policy.

We will either bring on another American century, or we are doomed to witness America's decline.

Big government doesn't help the middle class, it buries it.
