Rashness belongs to youth; prudence to old age.
Rashness attends youth, as prudence does old age.
No sober person dances.
O wretched man, wretched not just because of what you are, but also because you do not know how wretched you are!
That man is guilty of impertinence who considers not the circumstances of time, or engrosses the conversation, or makes himself the subject of his discourse, or pays no regard to the company he is in.
