Certainly there's a huge appeal to the '60s, because it was such a big turning point to everyone. It was the era of change, the boiling point. People rebelled against things - the hippies, the feminists, the protesters. All these things just built up and boiled over. I think people can relate to that today.
Margot RobbieI feel like I'm pretty good at doing my own makeup. I've watched a lot of people do my makeup, so I've been able to gauge what looks good and what doesn't.
Margot RobbieI have big feet. Do you know how embarrassing it is when you ask for a shoe and they look at you like, "No, we don't make these heels for Bigfoot, sorry."
Margot RobbieI was in a movie for five minutes where I play tennis and I was given five tennis lessons for free. I never had a tennis lesson. I was like, that's awesome! When else would I have taken up tennis?
Margot RobbieIt's fascinating to see how versatile New York City is. It lends itself to being so many different places!
Margot RobbieI try to remind myself that all of this could be over tomorrow, because I could wake up and magically be 35 feet tall and not be able to act in movies anymore.
Margot RobbiePeople don't want to look at you and think, 'Oh, it must have taken her so long to get ready!' It's not as exciting to imagine. They want to imagine your life being - well, the opposite of what it sometimes is, where getting dressed is very regimented, you know? People don't want to know that.
Margot RobbieProbably not for about 10 years, because I've got so much to do before then, but I really want to have four kids ... I'd love them to have adorable little American accents, but I do want to bring my kids up in Australia; it's such a good lifestyle.
Margot RobbieThere are those who build careers and companies just out of being popular on Instagram, but theres nothing behind them.
Margot RobbieI know that my look is more "toothpaste model" as opposed to artsy, which sucks because I can play those roles.
Margot RobbieI think the superhero platform gives the female character, you know, a relate-ability for the male audience as well. So, I think that's why people are kinda gravitating towards female super hero characters, and also female characters in general as big parts of the film. So, that's great for us, female actors who want to do roles like that, which is really great.
Margot RobbieOnce people see you pulling off one role, they think youre a safe bet to do a similar role.
Margot RobbieGrowing up I never had a perfume. I was like oh, one day when I'm grownup and have money I'm going to wear perfume. I had one perfume and I would save it for really, really, really special occasions. Which meant I never actually wore it. So now it's one of those things like, I can wear perfume everyday. I can afford to buy another one, I'm really lucky that I can. Now when I have nice stuff I don't save it anymore, I try to use it.
Margot RobbieWhen you look at movies, the lead girl is always gorgeous and thin. There is a stereotype that you need to look a certain way and when you get in the business you really feel the pressure.
Margot RobbieI remember specific times and people in my life so much more clearly if I smell something that brings me back to them.

Margot RobbieSo many of my friends are older, and the people I work with are older. I guess I've gotten used to hearing people say, "Oh, you're so young," even though I never really agreed with that. Now I get their perspective.
Margot RobbieI was always very dramatic - my family would probably use the word 'dramatic' - as a child; always putting on performances, making everyone come watch, and pay to watch. I was very business-savvy as a child.
Margot RobbieI kind of left everyone behind in Australia - all my friends and my family and I had to break up with my boyfriend.
Margot RobbieLiving in London, the water is really harsh, and my hair got so bad as soon as I moved there. But you can't really avoid that.
Margot RobbieI love flying so much. I even airplane food. No one bothers you and your phone never goes off and you can't have emails go through. It's undisturbed.
Margot RobbieIt does feel bizarre, having someone in your work space who's so much younger than you.
Margot RobbieI send thank you notes, not emails, even if I'm staying at a friend's house or something. I'm very old school.
Margot RobbieWhenever there's a red carpet event coming up my trainer in LA that I see, I always come to her like three days before and go, 'Can you make me really thin in three days?' She's always like, 'If you come to me consistently all throughout the year, then yes I can. When you come to me with three days and ask to lose 10 pounds it's just not going to happen.' I'm like, 'Do your best. Please. Make me skinny.'
Margot RobbieSomeone told me that you could learn to sing, and that there are muscles that if you build, you will sing.
Margot RobbieI feel much more comfortable either up in a tree, or underwater. That's where I feel the most zen.
Margot RobbieI have like three hairs left on my head. A hairstylist will come in and put all this fake hair in and it looks luscious and amazing. And I'm like, god, I feel a thousand times better.
Margot RobbieI think they've finally realized that women go to see movies as much as men do. Ticket sales are coming from them as well, so why not appeal to them? I think they're finding a way.
Margot RobbieNo one in my family had ever done anything acting-wise or entertainment industry-wise.
Margot RobbieThere is something about being people from your home country in a different country. It bonds you together.
