Any situation that pushes our buttons is a situation where we don't yet have the capacity to be unconditionally loving.

Spiritual growth increases our sense of what's possible. And as we sense new possibility, we can step into that possibility. With every word, every thought, every action, we choose what we wish to call forth in life.

The outer kingdom is not our real home. The inner kingdom is our everything.

I think the heartbreak of September 11 - America's grief not only over the loss of life but also the loss of our own innocence -has expanded us as people because it has tenderized our hearts. On a psychological level, the American people have matured as a result of that awful day.

Once we truly understand that God's will is that we be happy, we no longer feel the need to ask for anything other than that God's will be done.
