We are to love our enemies that they might be returned to their right minds.

I am trying to be in that alchemical soup of human transformation. I am trying to process, reconcile, forgive, let go, and grieve, when necessary.

When we surrender to God, we let go of our attachment to how things happen on the outside, and we become more concerned with what happens on the inside.

I do know middle age can bring greater depth, greater wisdom, greater capacity for love, greater capacity for relationship, greater consciousness and desire to serve and awareness of the fate of mankind - all these wonderful things, yes. And I know I'm getting there.

I find being a mother harder than I though it was going to be. That is a tremendous revelation for me personally. Much more time, more care, more attention and more effort needs to be spent on care for the children. That will save the world at large.

We shouldn’t come up with a pseudo-spiritual excuse for turning away from the pain of the world.
