If a person is fearful, it is a fearful time. If a person is hopeful, it's a hopeful time. If you look at world events one way, fear is reasonable. If you look at the world another way, hope is justified.

We can invoke spiritual compensation when we find ourselves in situations of material lack. In other words, what happens for most of us is that we are tempted and we are taught, we are trained as it were, to meet limited circumstances with limited thought.

We're often afraid to do anything unless we know we can do it extremely well. But we get to Carnegie Hall by practicing.
