The opposite of love is apathy, and hate is really the same as love-if your so consumed with hatred for someone, you might as well be loving them because your thinking about them for the same amount of time.

I've always believed that a person is smart. It's people that are stupid.

One hates what one fears.

In any story, the villain is the catalyst. The hero's not a person who will bend the rules or show the cracks in his armor. He's one-dimensional intentionally, but the villain is the person who owns up to what he is and stands by it.

Image and music always works together for me. I think they're equally important and I've always done things in a way that people remember them by, but I don't set out to just shock people...because that's very easy, a lot of people could do that, I just like to do things the way that makes me happy really. And sometimes that's too much for certain people, but, you know, I try to push the envelope to make the boundaries wider as far as what you can and can't do in music.

I've never been a suicidal person. I've never been someone to want to see the world come to an end. But I would like to see something different than what I'm seeing. Because it is becoming a monotonous - as if you're watching re-runs of things you've already seen.

I did vote Obama. But I've never believed in the authenticity of the two-party system.
