Art, to me, is a question. It should never be an answer.

I think every man and woman is a star. It's just a matter of realizing and becoming it. It's all a matter of willpower. The world is just how you see it. If you want to have other people tell you how to see it, then you can. But if you want to look at it differently, then it's limitless what you can do. That's why I don't feel the need to be one person. I can be as many people as I like.

It isn’t hard to find a person whom I could fall in love with, to give her romance. But it’s hard to find such a person who would understand your view on life, accept who you really are and would truly care for you.

I think that's all a form of wanting to let go, of wanting to get out... It's not something easily described or understood.

In my work I examine the America we live in, and I've always tried to show people that the devil we blame our atrocities on is really just each one of us. So don't expect the end of the world to come one day out of the blue – it's been happening every day for a long time.

I am a character, so that's the problem. There are many, many levels to how I behave. Some people might associate being Marilyn Manson as having lipstick on, but I don't really have some sort of other lifestyle.
