All that running around in my underwear put money in my pockets. I can focus on working in interesting movies without having to worry about supporting myself.

I did a lot of things that I regretted and I certainly paid for my mistakes. You have to go and ask for forgiveness and it wasn't until I really started doing good and doing right, by other people as well as myself, that I really started to feel that guilt go away. So I don't have a problem going to sleep at night.

I'm proud to be white. I don't have anything against my color. But I don't think color matters, either. Just like I feel it doesn't matter that I'm a white dude doin' black music.

I like to do projects I feel some connection to.

I also like to get out there to promote a positive message about the importance of family and faith and of doing the right thing.

Previously, I've worked with Bill Monahan on The Departed, he recently wrote American Desperado for us, and I just acted in a movie he directed called Mojave. So, yes, Jimmy, that goes without saying.

That whole world, the world of bodybuilding to me is fascinating. It's such a unique and interesting culture, and everything about it appeals to me.
