It's always been a dream of mine, and a childhood fantasy, to play a great champion. I would much rather haven been an athlete than an actor. This is like some second place consolation prize.

If I can start my day out by saying my prayers and getting myself focused, then I know I'm doing the right thing. That 10 minutes helps me in every way throughout the day.

I don't like to eat in movies. I don't like props. Some people have always got to have a thing and they're doing this or doing that. I hate it. I just want to talk or fight. Or both!

I'm not the guy who will sit in a room with somebody who's using a bunch of big words and just act like I know what they're talking about, or sit on set with somebody and they'll be trying to explain something and not using layman's terms and I'll just say, "Hey, excuse me, what do you mean by that? Explain to me so I just understand."

Movies have kind of become a tad bit uninspired, in that the big studio movies are spending more money to chase the big money with all these franchises and superhero movies. Some of them have been great, but some of them are a little tiresome.

A lot of people tend to chew up the scenery. I'm a firm believer in less is more, especially on the big screen.

I miss being able to wake up when I want and go on stage when I want and pull down my pants when I want.
