To ignore evil is to become an accomplice to it.

I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.

Our nettlesome task is to discover how to organize our strength into compelling power.

We have a great dream. It started way back in 1776, and God grant that America will be true to her dream.

Don't allow anybody to make you feel that you're nobody.

And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!
