Matt Hardy may be dysfunctional, but you can't spell dysfunctional without fun. My goal in the professional wrestling industry is to put fun into the dysfunctionality of it.

That is something I try to stress to the wrestlers nowadays - there is an epidemic of spot monkeys in the business. They often are so concerned with the fans' reactions that they're willing to kill themselves, while I am trying to help them move past that. It is not about the move, it's about the moment you create, and that's what I'm doing through my broken brilliance.

The most important thing in the professional wrestling industry in this day and age of technology and the Internet and social media is to be able to make wrestling unpredictable.

I am really lucky to have Jeff. He is my best friend in the whole world, not only my brother.

Something very rare in this day and age is to see performers do something that has never been done before.
