Acting can be a difficult business. When I was younger, if my mates were doing better than me, I might be a little bit envious, but as I have got older, I love to see actors cracking on and succeeding. The same goes for writers.

If you fall in love with someone, it doesnt matter who they are. Ive had lots of girlfriends who werent in the public eye. It is hard, all the intrusion: you have a row with someone, and even though youve sorted everything out, you get the are-they-going-to-split headlines for the next ten days.

I'm an actor - I want to be known for that.

I hardly ever go to showbiz parties, it's not my style. That doesn't mean to say I don't have a good time. I love hanging out with mates.

Who would I marry? I know, my ego. We'd make the perfect couple.

As an actor, you've got to maintain a bit of mystery and at least part of your private life, otherwise the game is up.

If I were a chocolate I'd eat myself. Seriously, we're all interested in ourselves and what other people are saying about us to some extent.
