It's important to preach like there's a broken heart on every pew. That's always been a phrase that stuck with me. Not everybody is having a tough time, but you can bet your buck that there's a good tenth of your church that's going through a hard season. There really is a broken heart on every pew.

My concern is that somebody would make a decision against Christianity because of Mr. Trump's behavior.

The next time you're disappointed, don't panic. Don't give up. Just be patient and let God remind you He's still in control.

The people who make a difference are not the ones with the credentials but the ones with the concern.

No one wants your worries...not even you. Anxiety comes at a high cost. Let Jesus lead you beside still waters.

I would not have said anything about Mr. Trump, never - I would never have said anything if he didn't call himself a Christian. It'd be none of my business whatsoever to make any comments about his language, his vulgarities, his slander of people, but I was deeply troubled ... that here's a man who holds up a Bible one day, and calls a lady "bimbo" the next.

You see, it's one thing to accept Him as Lord, another to recognize Him as Savior - but it's another matter entirely to accept Him as Father.
