God sees us with the eyes of a Father. He sees our defects, errors and blemishes. But He also sees our value.

God loves you simply because He has chosen to do so. He loves you when you don't feel lovely. He loves you when no one else loves you. Others may abandon you, divorce you, and ignore you, but God will love you always. No matter what!

Compassion in evangelical churches is out of balance. When I talk about it, I get a lot of glazed expressions.

To see sin without grace is despair. To see grace without sin is arrogance. To see them in tandem is conversion.

When we submit to God's plans, we can trust our desires. Our assignment is found at the intersection of God's plan and our pleasures.
