Our God is abundant in love and steadfast in mercy. He saves us, not because we trust in a symbol, but because we trust in a Savior.

In March 2011 I'm trying to decide on a sermon series that I will preach in January 2012. So, I'm about six months out.

I want a real take-home quality to the sermon, so I built the whole sermon series around the word grace, those five letters.

You have a God who hears you, the power of love behind you, the Holy Spirit within you, and all of heaven ahead of you. If you have the Shepherd, you have grace for every sin, direction for every turn, a candle for every corner and an anchor for every storm. You have everything you need.

God is recruiting for himself a people who will populate heaven.

What Christ does in us and through us will always be 'exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.'

God's love never ceases. Never. Though we spurn him. Ignore him. Reject him. Despise him. Disobey him. He will not change. Our evil cannot diminish his love. Our goodness cannot increase it. Our faith does not earn it any more than our stupidity jeopardizes it. God doesn't love us less if we fail or more if we succeed. God's love never ceases.
