Resentment is when you allow what’s eating you to eat you up. Revenge is the raging fire that consumes the arsonist. Bitterness is the trap that snares the hunter. And mercy is the choice that can set them all free.

When we're in the middle of a difficult time, we have to speak against that lie that says, "God is not here." We have to draw near to God.

Jesus is not "out of touch with our reality. He's been through weakness and testing, experienced it all - all but the sin. So let's walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help" (Heb. 4:15 - 16 MSG).

Others have promised and failed. But God has promised and succeeded. He loves you with an unfailing love.

Love the one who wears your ring. And cherish the children who share your name. Succeed at home first.

There is something about keeping Him divine that keeps Him distant, packaged, predictable. But don't do it. For heaven's sake, don't. Let Him be as human as He intended to be. Let Him into the mire and muck of our world. For only if we let Him in can He pull us out.

CAN is 100 times more important than IQ
