I'm not looking for Bible verses to back up a lifestyle of passiveness. I'm looking for Bible verses and life experiences to teach me to live more radically for Christ.

The foolish took their lamps, but took no oil (pursued ministry as their priority over getting oil). The wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps (pursued oil as their priority before ministry). At the dark midnight hour of history, the Spirit will raise up forerunners who cry out that Jesus is coming as a Bridegroom God and that we must go out to meet Him (make the necessary effort to encounter Him). They all slept which speaks of living in context to the natural processes of life.

Worship is not a twenty minute period during a church service, but a lifestyle of relating to God in a particular way.

God gives salvation to the needy, but gives the deep things of His heart to the hungry who refuse to live without them.

It won't matter who my friends were; it won't matter my endorsements; what matters is my heart's response to him.

Jesus is never bored in his relationship with you.

Understanding God's great love for undeserving people such as us, gives us insight into His great majesty. As beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so great love reveals the nature of the One who loves deeply.
