It's an honor to serve, to have run with the president-elect [Donald Trump] and to have the opportunity to serve with him, but I've also become very fond of him . We've become good friends.

I think it's important to remember that the court itself, the federal government itself belongs to the American people.

We've seen an economy stifled by more taxes, more regulation, a war on coal and a failing health care reform come to be known as Obamacare and the American people know that we need to make a change.
