We're different men [with Donald Trump], different life experiences. But I've always been struck by our common heritage. His grandfather immigrated to this country just like my grandfather. His dad was a self-made businessman, who built up a business with his two hands. And my dad followed his dreams to Columbus, Indiana, helped build a small business in that town.

Police officers are the best of us. And the men and women, white, African-American, Asian, Latino, Hispanic, they put their lives on the line every single day.

Donald Trump has made it clear, he wants to make a priority of national security, rebuilding our military, but he wants to do it in a fiscally responsible way.

The reality is that there's heartbreak and tragedy that has struck American families because people that came into this country illegally are now involved in criminal enterprise and activity. We don't have the resources or the will to deport them systemically.

I am going to be using Ronald Reagan's Bible [during swearing-in]. But I'm also going to be using one of our personal Bibles from home; it'll be different than the one I used when I was inaugurated as governor.

Donald Trump and I are going to make sure that law enforcement have the resources and the tools to be able to really restore law and order to the cities and communities in America.
