The American people want to see our nation standing tall on the world stage again. They want to see us supporting our military, rebuilding our military, commanding the respect of the world, and they want to see the American economy off to the races again.

I think I would always tell school kids that, you know, they'd say, "When did you get interested in politics?" I said, "Just very young." Maybe it was because President [J.F.] Kennedy was the first Irish-Catholic president."

There's two ways you can defeat your opponent, number one, is you can defeat 'em outright, or number two, you can just demoralize them.

Iran would do well to look at the calendar and realize there's a new president in the Oval Office. And Iran would do well not to test the resolve of this new president [Donald Trump].

The American people know what's necessary to get this economy moving again. It's fiscal discipline in Washington, D.C. and across-the-board tax relief for working families, small businesses and family farms.

I'm going to bring my best efforts and do my very best every day to support our new president's [Donald Trump] agenda and to hopefully play some small role in making America great again.

I think Donald Trump will articulate what we do with the people [immigrants] who are here.
