When they were all hassling him, this guy who bought the house - I can't believe I remember this - he said to them, 'Who's paying the mortgage on this haunted house?' Finding a writer's assistant, be it a man or a woman, and encouraging them to think with a feminist perspective, is key.

Nothing gives you confidence like being a member of a small, weirdly specific, hard-to-find demographic.
